I'm always glad I walked afterwards, but I don't always feel like walking. Today was one of those days. I was tired when I woke up, and exercising was the last thing I wanted to do. But, I kicked my butt into gear and off we went.
What a gorgeous morning! I had the wind in my face for the first half of my walk, and a tailwind for the second half. Perfect. Eve and I had a good talk about character, and why we need to build it into our hearts. We talked about hard work and why it's a good thing. She asked if Daddy and I thought she was funny, and I took the opportunity to talk about some of the special things I love about her.
And to top it off, I even got a rousing "You go, girl! Whoo-hoo!" from some men working across the road from where I was walking. I'll take that any day (even if it was a bit uncomfortable) over the "Woman, you are crazy!" stares I normally get. I don't think I deserve the "crazy" stares. I prefer to think I am determined - rather than crazy - to be pushing two kids in a stroller and backpacking the third, for the exercise.
You wouldn't give the me the "crazy" stare, now would you?

'Course not. I get enough crazy stares myself. You go, girl!
I'm thinkin'...I want to answer honestly...ok...nah, I might think "I could never do that, that woman's crazy," but then I'd say "you go girl!" LOL!!
I would be super excited cuz I love seeing people out being active! We don't do that enough anymore as a society so it's awesome when I do see it! You rock Andie!
oh and by the way, that picture is HILARIOUS! I love your pictures:)
Good for you for saying "no" to your lazy self (or whatever you want to call it!)
Be proud of that strong will and determination!
well done! Do Eve or Judah ever like to walk too? I'm sure you'll be relieved when you don't have to carry one as well. But think of all the extra calories it's burning... :)
Walking is one thing I will really miss about living here. I have to walk to and from school 2 times a day whether I feel like it or not. Raining or not. Grumpy kids or not. Back home, driving will be such a temptation!
I wouldn't think you're crazy; just determined. That's how I feel right now; downright determined to lose the 10+ (I won't say how many +++'s) pounds I have yet to go. Good for you for getting out and about.
Crazy? no. jealous? yes. skinny mini! ;-)
When we do have our kids....I'll be doing the "Andrea", hahaha! I've already requested a jogging stroller from Chris. :-)
I know what you mean about having to kick yourself into doing the exercise, although it always feels better afterwards. I don't think you're crazy, I do think that you have a lot of guts lol.
I love it when they fall asleep in the carrier... so cute.
I wouldn't give you a crazy stare... I get them all the time. :)
Brittany
No stare here..I would be asking if I could walk with you.....YOU GO GIRL!
I *might* give you the crazy stare - but it would just be masking the "I wish I would get up off my behind like her" look...
meant to tell you - were were just in L last week. My 9yr old daughter saw your brother... and gave him her phone number! When told that she may not give strangers (or boys for that matter) her number she said "but he's a cute stranger"... I'm just thankful he's not a crazy stranger!
I'm not ready to be the mother of a pre-teen!
I'd give you a standing ovation.
That picture is fabulous! Absolutely fabulous!
You go, girl!!! ;)
OH MY!!! I just want to kiss those adorable chubby lips!!!
