We weren't sure the baby bird was still alive yesterday afternoon since we couldn't find him anywhere. We had looked and looked but to no avail. This morning Daniel spied him on our bush. We were thrilled! We also found out that he can fly a little bit. He safely in our tree now, and his Momma is taking good care of him.

He's so cute! I hope he gets all better soon so he can fly.
What a fun thing for the kids. Do you remember the baby owl we had in the bush in Honeoye? He looked like Yoda!

How much fun is that for the kids! Nathan loves it when he finds the little animals in our back yard. But since moving to the island he brings home baby chickens now. What ever happened to the lizards and such? LOL.
I was reading all the posts that I have missed and I just want to say I completely understand you not liking the winter months. I love to visit the snow like at a ski resort but I do not want to live in the cold. But in saying that I do miss the fall months. They are my favorite months of the year!
Too cute! Glad he's back in his mother's wings.
