Wednesday afternoon found Eve at the kitchen table constructing a birthday card for Daniel. She was very involved in drawing each member of our family with her glitter glue and markers when I heard her distress call:
"But Momma, I don't know how to draw the camera!"
Apparently Eve thinks the camera is part of our family.
I know I take a lot of pictures and my camera pretty much goes everywhere with us.... But a family member?!
The thought of cutting back on my picture taking makes me feel a little panicky, so yeah... I might have a problem.

oh, please don't stop. everyone needs a little addiction in their lives, right? (i don't mean real ones) we can't handle it if you stop taking beautiful pictures. we'll be in detox and you'll be at your P.A. meeting. that's just not fun for any of us, is it?
That is hilarious. I know you must carry around the camera...cause you always have amazing pictures!
lol, that is incredibly cute of Eve to think. Please don't stop taking photos, we love your beautiful gift of capturing your kids in their precious moments.
Ok...now I'M the one choking on breakfast!! That is too funny...out of the mouths of babes!
I say keep snapping those pix...you can always get Eve therapy later, but you can never get back those precious memories caught on camera...lol!!!
LOL!!
Oh, I know I have a problem! My name is Courtney & I am a picture taking addict!
That is so great! We love your photos! Since your camera is an "official" family member you should definitely name it! ;)
Look at the beautiful head of hair on that girl! She'll appreciate all these pictures someday (taken by her little brother/sister - what gender is the camera, I wonder?).
I hope you have a birth photographer or tripod. :-)
Awwww...LOL that is too funny! :)
The pictures on here are my favoite part of your blog. You take such great ones!
Dont you dare......you have a great addiction!
Hey, did you hear that great outcry coming from your blogging friends. I am with them. Do not stop taking pictures. If the camera is part of the family, we'll accept that! Love the pictures but then, I am totally partial to my grandchildren.

I am dying right now! I love the girl, she keeps you on your toes with what she's going to say next. And yes, I'm with everyone else, don't you dare stop taking pictures. If you do, I wouldnt get so many cute ones of my kids either :)
That's funny! If you're anything like me you couldn't stop taking photos if you tried. And you take beautiful pictures.
If mine were younger that's something they would have said about me too since my camera is as much a part of me as my arms or legs are. Maybe we need a photography anonymous group? ;-)
LOL I think all our kids feel that way, they're usually the ones reminding me to take the camera now when we head out the door for ANYTHING that could be blogged about, which pretty much means anything we do lol
too funny!
you CAN'T stop taking pictures....it's just not right! I do the same thing, and poor Braydon sometimes tells me "mommy no more pictures please" because I take too many. But your pictures are sooo neat!!
I guess I'm just going to second all the above comments, because they stole every single clever idea I had. ;-)
That was way too funny! And so adorable.
oh goodness, i never go anywhere without my camera... i just wish i could take pictures as good as yours! :)
