A few weeks ago I was contacted by a marketing company interested in sending me Pampers diapers and wipes for review. I was sent the Pampers Baby Dry diapers and the corresponding wipes which are called Swipers.
I already regularly use the Baby Dry Pampers since they are the only diaper I've found that stand a chance with Judah. I've tried several different diaper brands such as Costco's Kirkland, and Huggies in the past, but they just didn't work nearly as well. They couldn't keep from leaking on a very regular basis. With the Pampers, Judah only leaks if he has had an enormous amount to drink and it is an overnight diaper. And Pampers smell great, don't they?!
I adored the Swipers from the get-go. They were thick without being too thick, incredibly soft, and cleaned very easily without me having to use more than a few at each changing. Another plus was the Swipers never felt cold to the touch. The Walmart brand, which I normally use, always does.
The only negative I could find with the Swipers was the smell. I have always bought scent-less wipes but these particular Swipers had scent added, and it was strong. I eventually got use to it and found I liked it, but at first the smell was over-powering.
Truthfully, price is major factor for me in the buying of wipes. So, while I do love the Swipers , I will be evaluating the price against the amount of wipes I get. I am willing to pay a bit more for the Swipers, since I really loved them, but I may need a coupon to go along with them as well.
You'll notice from the image above that Pampers has made wipes and diapers that correspond with each stage your child is in. I felt like the Baby dry and Swipers went quite well together, so I would have to assume they put good thought into the other Stages pair-ups. I heartily recommend this product to all you who regularly have bottoms to change!
What kind of diapers do you like and use on a regular basis?

With Madison 10 years ago all I used were Luvs.....with Miller we use Pampers Sensitive Touch Wipes.....everything else breaks his little bottom out...and Huggies #5 diapers...we just went to the #5's.....and we are talking about the potty...just talking. LOL!
As much as I like pampers. ( They tend to have a fresh baby smell to them lol) I was never able to use them, both of my kids were allergic to pampers whips and diapers. I had to use Huggies.

I used to always use Luvs...but as K has gotten older, Huggies seem to work best. I especially liked their nightime diapers...although they don't make a size bigger than 5...BUMMER. K wets through regular diapers at night!
We use the baby dry too for the same reason! Though I really liked the way the Huggies natural flex fit but they are just through the roof expensive. I havent tried the swipers, I might have to look into those.
But for newborns I am all about the pampers swaddlers! Huggies are horrible and leaking at that stage. Oh how I love the swaddlers.
Before Abigail was born we were cleaning out Noah's closet and I found some newborn diapers I had saved - I don't care how many babies you have had seeing that newborn diaper after having only changed size 5 for the last year will blow you away. They are just so teeny tiny, no way the baby will be that small, right? And then, then the diapers swallow them.
Im rambling but I couldn't help myself with your new baby coming and all.
Thanks for the review!
I nearly forgot to mention - well I guess I did forget - with Noah, he was still leaking through the baby drys at night. So I tried the Huggies overnights and those are great!! We use those at night and the baby dry during the day. They are a little pricey but because you are only using one a day it really spreads itself out in an affordable way.
We used Pampers Cruisers for both kids and we liked Pampers wipes best. One of the last boxes of diapers we bought had 2 free packs of Swipers in it and we liked them but you are so right about the smell, it's overpowering. When my daughter uses them to wipe her face (when we are out to eat, etc.) she always says they stink and she hypothesizes that they smell like a baby's bottom. No idea where that comes from?
We use Bum Genius cloth diapers and huggies at night to get the moisture away from their little bums since they are on for so long at night. When we used disposable diapers we bought Huggies... my boys seemed to leak horribly out of pampers and I didn't like the smell.
I used the swaddlers when Jericho was first born and really liked them but now I use luvs. My biggest problem is that the girl poops through stuff all the time. I've had to move her to bigger size diapers than she needs but it seems to work. I wonder if huggies or pampers might be better but luvs are more in our price range fot the time being.
Hey if they ever call and ask you to do a review again give them my # and tell them I'll do one too!
I use generic disposables for my 2 year old son. I use Fuzzi Bunz with my 5 month old. I love them!
We have always loved Pampers Swadlers and Cruisers. And I loved the Swipers wipes until I found Brett to be allergic to them. Cost is a big factor for me too so I stick with Costco's brand.
It's been Huggies the entire time. I tried just about every other brand and they just didn't pass the pee pee test. Pampers did OK. But Huggies, by far, had the least leaking for Samuel. Plus I can buy them by the case at Sams.
I'd like to try those Swipers though. The name alone makes me want to buy them.
