Three dollars at the little thrift store down the street. Heck yeah, people! I have been looking for a unique set of dishes to mix with a white set (that I don't have yet), and last night was the night.
These dishes are so different and interesting! I love them. It is - amazingly enough - a set of eight, except for the bowls. There are only seven of them but I can deal.
I am a happy, happy girl!

Ohhh! Those are beautiful!
Great find!!
Those will look great with some white dishes. I have Buck's County Penn Dutch dishes that I treasure...from the Salvation Army, of course!!
They are beautiful!!! I've never seen green ones like that, only blue ones. I really like them! Congrats :)
ah, I love thrift store finds. Those are so great!
Oh I love these! Lucky girl! I've never seen green either, only red or blue.
Looks like many lovely dinner parties are in your future!
Sounds crazy but I have the platter to those dishes. Not sure why...probably just handed down to me.
Those are GREAT!!! What a wonderful find!! :)
What a deal! They are charming!
You and I would get along great! I love thrift stores. In fact, that's what I did yesterday but, I didn't find anything nearly as great as those dishes. I've developed an interest in green colored glass and thrift stores are the best place to find it. Congrats on your find!
Three dollars for the WHOLE SET??! Or three for each piece? Either way, what a bargain and I am SOOOO jealous!!
I LOVE LOVE thrift store finds or any kind of bargain for that matter. Love the dishes. I found some at our church's annual yard sale a few years ago to go with my regular set.
loving the dishes! what a cool find!
I was wondering what you were going to find. $3 is a deal... I wanna come to your thrift store. :)
If you know the name of the dishes you can go to replacementsltd.com and find your missing bowl for next to nothing.
I love the green and have been looking for something to go with my grandmother's green glasses from forever ago.
Amanda
Did you know that those dishes are retro?? They are some of the assorted dishes, and other things, that came in laundry soap boxes waaaaay back in the 50s and 60s. I can't believe you got the set for only $3...they're worth alot more than that to collectors. My mil has what's left of a set of those...the ones that didn't break over the years..... :)
