My arms are shaky... My legs feel like rubber bands... My quads are in distress....
I just completed my first spinning class! It was a ton of fun. Totally intense and I really felt like I was exercising! I love that feeling - I think this might be just what I needed to lose the weight. I'll keep on walking but spinning is what is really going to kick my butt into shape. I detest being out of shape, I feel so yucky about myself. This is going to be a whole lot of work but I am at the point where I will do whatever it takes!
Daniel, being the wonderful husband that he is, watched the kids for me so I could go this morning. The hardest part of all this was getting out of bed. I really hate that part....

I have some friends who do this. I think I may take up Pilate's.....or yoga again...I need the metal part...bad.
Awesome! Good for you! I know that if I want to exercise I have to get up bright & early and feed Makenna, then go and work out quickly! Is Eliza taking a bottle?

Glad you enjoyed spinning! I tried it for the first time last week and I've never been more sore in my life, but it's a good kind of sore. You know you're getting your body in shape.

Ouch! You go girl! I did a spinning class once and only once. I did not like it at all. I think my booty's too big for the seat LOL!!!
I started the Couch to 5K running program today - not bad!!!!

Oh yeah... that will really make your legs hurt. I used to take spinning. But I stopped because the Y was 20 minutes away and 5:30am was TOO EARLY. If only there was a place closer.

yay for spinning! Jordan has done a couple classes to motivate his clients, and said he really liked it. Gets your heart rate up well. I am planning on giving it a try post-pardum :) They have a nice brand new spinning room at our gym. We'll see how that goes.
Jordan has also become a kettlebell fiend. All of his clients have become aquainted with the joy of the Turkish getup and the clean & press. What fun. More things I'm hoping to try . . . starting maybe in June??
I took a spinning class once and didn't like it but that was ages ago. J. takes one with his squadron for PT occasionally and he loves it so maybe I should give it another shot!

I worked at a health club the year before J and I got married. My best girlfriend there was a spinning instructor. I took her class a few times and thought I would just about die! (and that was back when I was in pretty good shape) What a workout that is!!

yikes Andie! I gotta say you are more brave than I am. Possibly crazier as well but you are gonna be in good shape, remember when I rode a lot?
