First off I have to let you mothers with children in diapers know about a pretty great deal going on with Luvs. I was asked to let you all know about a $5 coupon that is going to be available on the Luvs website tomorrow June 25th.
I looked at the price of Luvs diapers today at the Commissary - Whew! What a great deal! I have never used that brand before, I'm a Pampers buying mama, but for the price I may just switch over.
I'll let you know what I think after I try out the package I am being sent to review.
In the meantime, let me know what you think. Do you use the Luvs brand of diapers? Do you like them?
Next up... McMommy had a post about a subject I've been struggling with.

You guys are killing me. You say the sweetest things to me, you ask me questions, you are hilarious and I want to tell you so BUT I CAN'T! I click on "reply," all ready to send you an e-mail and up pops "noreply-comment@blogger." And then I feel sad because it probably feels like I am ignoring you, or not appreciating your fantastic comments. BUT I DO!
So, visit McMommy, enjoy her awesome sense of humor, and do what she says (it's really easy!). It will be so fun to chat back and forth with you.
By the way, tell her I sent you. Oh and tell her she's super cool while you're there. 'Cause she is!
Lastly....
She has an excellent eye for fine jewelry.
She makes the best motorboat noises ever. The sounds that comes out of her mouth thrill her to no end. I have been the happy and wet recipient of many a passing motorboat...
My baby, who is the precious reminder of a God who loves me. He gave me such a gift in Eliza. Happy six months, "sweet thang!"

My favorite baby girl is 6 months today! Can you believe it? I can't. Nor does it make any sense. Wasn't she just born?!
This sweet baby of mine has the best smile. She has melted many a heart with her dimpled, open-mouth smile.
Her fingers have wrapped tightly around many a strangers hand. Who can help but reach out and touch her. She is so lovable.

I have used Luvs with a 3 kids & I wouldn't use any other brand. The price is great & I have never had a problem with leaking. I really think you'll like them.

I used Luvs with both the boys and they were great! I actually liked them better than pampers if you can believe it. I can't remember ever having one leak.

I am Luvs all the way! Huggies didn't hold that newborn-breastmilk poo, and pampers never seemed right and are WAY way way too expensive. BJ's is awesome about sending out $5 coupons on an entire box, which means I get a case for $23, cheaper than any generic and MUCH better! thanks for the coupon info!
I'm so glad you posted about that coupon! I buy Luvs at the Commissary! I used Luvs w/Kayla and sometimes w/Lucas. I started using Huggies w/Lucas because of some coupons I had, but they seem to tight on him. They were sz 2 and he "fits" according to the weight on the package, but it just seemed tight for his rolls LOL So I went back to Luvs, also sz 2, and they seem to fit him better. Haven't had any problems with them. They are around $5-6 cheaper then Huggies - so this $5 off coupon will make them about $6 whoo hoo! And I was heading to the commissary tomorrow or Thur to stock up on supplies for our trip to AZ so thank you :)
I still remember when Eliza was born on Christmas Eve morning. My mom and sister were here and I was on the computer and so excited for you guys! I was talking out loud saying "oh Andrea had her baby on Christmas Eve morning!" and of course they were asking me "who?" LOL Happy 6th month Eliza!
I use pampers too. I have never tried luvs. I am afraid to stray out of what I know is good and doesn't leak. Let me know how they work.

We use Huggies diapers # 6 and wipes are sensitive skin by pampers....Madison used Luvs though 9 years ago...lol.

Happy six months big girl - what a cutie patootie all the way!! We are cloth diaper users, but I have friends who have used Luvs and swear by them!
I love Pampers too, but Luvs are great as well! They are very similar to the Pampers Baby Dry diapers.

I've always heard Luvs are essentially the same as Pampers Baby Dry and are actually made by the same company, they're just marketed differently. I've used Luvs with all 3 of my kids and have no complaints, and you can't beat the price.
woohoo on the coupon - we've used Luvs, Huggies & Pampers - just depends on the baby here (1 was skinny, 2 were chubby, and 1 was rolly-polly)
and I have NO clue what you're talking about - where can you reply to comments? Can you reply to mine? what do I need to change? (gosh, I bet that will be annoying if you can't reply to me)

Eliza is SO beautiful and you capture her personality so well with your camera. I want a good camera so I can try to do the same.
I have tried Luvs because of the price and I didn't like them at all. I prefer huggies myself. Luvs has no stretch whatsoever, and they just don't stay on my guy very well. Plus they are super thin and just like paper. We tried to make it through an entire package and gave up 1/2 way through.
Looks like Eliza is teething. The motorboat sounds and heavy drool are a good indication. Any signs yet? She is such a cutie.
We used Luvs with our first baby - until he hit about 2. Then we switched to Pampers because the Luvs seemed smallish at the size 5 and didn't fit as well. We used Luvs on Oscar until I switched to cloth last month, but he blows out of everything EXCEPT our cloth diapers. Put a disposable on him and it goes right up his back. I'm not sure if it would have improved if I'd switched to Pampers or Huggies, but they were too expensive and I was too into the idea of cloth.
Oh, and how do you reply to someone? All I get when I click on their name is a profile, not an email. This has stumped me for a bit. You can't email me yet, but I'll have to look into that tonight - I'd thought of doing this before, just wasn't sure I'd every check it...

I am a Pampers mama. I tried Luvs, but Hannah always pooped out of them. Haha, I used to call her my super-pooper :) With breastfeeding she blew out a lot of diapers. I wasn't brave enough to try cloth diapers, and Pampers worked best for her.
im a pampers mama too. Just what we started using and never switched, well i take that back I did try a few times but my kids hind sides are apparently very sensitive and only the soft comfort of pampers was good enough for them. Everyonce in a while I think about switching but flyboy figures why fix it if it aint broke!

My little boy is 15 months and I've used Luvs from the very beginning...I LOVE THEM!!! My step-daughter will be 3 in October and is with us for the summer and I've been using Luvs on her too...and she hasn't had any problems staying dry overnight!!! Hope this helps!!!

We used luvs for like 18 months with K and realized that he was allergic to them and that is why he had such diaper area issues! So, we use Huggies now which actually have worked better for him as far as keeping him dry.

You truly are an AMAZING photographer. I probably say that with every comment I write to you. But I mean it!!
I firmly believe that Luvs are Pampers. Several times I have found a Pampers.com sticker on the plastic sleeve around the diapers inside the luvs box. Plus I had a chance to lay them side by side and they are identical except for the "character" printed on the front. I have noticed that whatever the new improvement in Pampers is doesnt show up in Luvs for about 6 mths (ie bear hug sides) Just my experience.......
Luvs are Pampers, both made by Proctor and Gamble. I would rate them the same. Although, I love me some Huggies once my babies get to size 3, it is Pampers swaddlers for us! I had no leaks with breastmilk poo out of those! But I can be easily swayed as a $5 coupon is very tempting!
