They're totally amazing, just so you know. Grind your flour, make smoothies and soups. Could it be your birthday/Christmas presents from Daniel for the next few years?

I will admit to having a couple of less than ideal transactions on eBay, but nothing that has stopped me from purchasing yet. Most sellers are honest and legit, it's just the 10% that make the 90% look bad. Good luck if you do buy it! I'm sure none of us would be jealous...:)
*sigh* The coolest stuff is always hella expensive. Hopefully it will come down soon...

Ah yes, I remember when I wanted one of these. That price tag brought me to my senses right quick. I didn't know it would work for grinding flour, though...

PS: I saw a Vitamix demonstration at the PX a few years ago and it doesn't do what they claim it does. Just so you know. :-) It's really just a blender.
I thought you had one already? I got mine through a demonstration at the BX a few months ago (when Joe was deployed!) ... maybe you can be on the lookout and they'll have someone at Cannon - they'll probably have it reduced and also because you're purchasing at the BX there won't be any tax.
Oh yeah... me too. My mil just told me about another one that is better??? I'll get the name and let you know. I think it's pricey too. Do you have a bosch? They are on sale right now because the new models are coming out. They're still $350 though. bummer!

Don't be afraid of Ebay! Find a reputable seller with good feedback. I bought my grain mill on there for a great price and it was brand new!!
I agree with the last commenter (Heather) - find a reputable seller with good feedback ratings. I bought my camera on ebay and got a GREAT deal.
