I am joining in with Jessica over at Farm Fresh for another glimpse into my real life. This week is themed Momentous Occasions. Jessica instructed us to post pictures of any memorable time in our real life.
Unfortunately, since we don't have our huge scanner/"do fifteen different things" machine set up, I had to use what is already saved on my computer. It's too bad because I have some winners in the photograph department!
Alright, momentous occasions here we come...
Marrying Daniel was the most momentous occasion - other than the obvious one... being born! - of my life. We were so happy to finally be together that we were giddy. Did we have a clue what we were doing? Yeah, enough to be scared, but too in love to care.
First comes love, then comes marriage, them comes the baby in the baby carriage...
It was true! Eve came along just under two years later. Did we have a clue what we were getting ourselves into here? No way!
I felt like if I was blown by a stiff breeze from behind, I was going to topple right over. I was so front-heavy!
Parents!! Whoa.... Parents.
Can we all say...CLUELESS!
Can we all say... exhausted!
There are so many more momentous occasions in the years between Eve's birth and Daniel's deployment. Judah's birth, moving, many anniversaries, but the deployment was huge for us. The leaving was horrid, but the coming back was amazing.
There is nothing quite like it in the world. We were over the moon. There was no way we could have been happier.
And to wrap things up... here is our latest momentous occasion, other than the move to New Mexico.
Eliza's birth.
The last push.
Head on over to Jessica's if you'd like to see more. And join in, if not this week, then next week! I'll be looking for you! Can we all say...CLUELESS!
Can we all say... exhausted!

just amazing. Your life seems so wonderful. You two seem so happy.
You looked so beautiful on your wedding day! Your style reminds me of Jackie-O, especially with the veil (I'm partial; mine was like that) :).
I love pregnant bellies! I wish I'd taken more pictures of mine with my daughter. Next go-round I'm going to take one every day to see the evolution.
I wish I could do a water birth! They look so relaxing. Unfortunately I had to have a C-section with my first, and my doctor won't let me do a VBAC.
Deployment has got to be touch. I hate it when my husband goes away on a business trip for a week. I can't imagine months and years at a time. You must be a very strong woman!
Thanks so much for stopping by! By the way, I LOVE your red hair! I wish I had the time and money to dye mine red.
I'm sure that you have (and will) heard this a ton, but you make such a beautiful bride!
I love that picture of you and Daniel after his deployment! It's so fun, and it looks like it is bursting with your personalities :)
*sniff*wipes away tears*
I was doing ok until the last push picture!
Your life is beautiful.
Funny how quickly wedding planning turns to family planning... I was thinking that last night too when I took the wedding album out from under The Art of Natural Family Planning
Wow. Great pictures. I really like your dress & veil. Beautiful. And I am so jelous of your baby tummy! Mine was all hips and thighs - uhg. And yes, as Jessica said..snif, snif and tears at the final push picture. Oh, that thought brings back my own 3 memories. I wish I could have done a water birth.
Beautiful... ALL of it....
And there is nothing like your hubby coming home after being away so long.....
the "Last Push" pic is awesome...
Thanks for Sharing.
I had two water births. They were awesome! I love your wedding veil! Very cool
You looked so BEAU-TIFUL at your wedding. What a great dress.
There is nothing better than belly pics and pics with the one you love after a long absence. Glad that Daniel is home and safe. God Bless to him and everyone who has been there or is still there.
Happy Real Life Thursday!
I always love pictures of your life Andrea, it seems so wonderful! The picture of you and Daniel hugging is wonderful, you guys look so perfect and happy.
LOVE LOVE LOVE your wedding veil.
Your pictures just radiate joy.
Love your wedding pics, especially the bouquet - gorgeous!
I LOVED this! You are such a stunning, beautiful woman, you know.
(Sorry I haven't been around - this week is CRAZY :))
Life is crazy beautiful, isn't it? That last picture? I know that look. It's the most painful, exhilarating look a mother can ever experience. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I loved the pics! Your family is so beautiful!
Great real life pictures Andrea!! I love them - your wedding photo is so gorgeous, your dress is stunning. And you guys are such a beautiful couple. I love the preggo shot and the last shot giving birth to Eve . . . amazing for sure.
I love your wedding veil, it is so pretty!! You have such a beautiful family and I always enjoy seeing your pictures. :) The picture of you and Daniel when he came home is so sweet. You both look so happy and in love :)
On a side note, if you have the time, and feel so inclined, I would really like to hear how you decided to have a water birth. I had pitocin and the epidural the first time, but when I have another baby I would really like to try and do it naturally. The first time around I went to the hospital right after my water broke, and they started pitocin immediately, even though I was already 80% effaced, and having regular contractions. Now that I think about it, it makes me really mad that my body was never really given a chance to "do it's thing" so to speak. Anyhow, I would love to hear about the reality of giving birth naturally. :) Thanks!
You are seriously incredibly beautiful! I loved your water birth picture and I absolutely love the last picture of you and your husband!
Wonderful!!!
WHO do you have have taking photos of you two?? I need to hire them :D
Okay, so how fun are these pictures! I love that baby belly. You know, you have had one action packed life! Thanks for sharing.
these are so sweet!!! I LOVE the last one. And I'm tellig you... the first one at the rehearsal... Kate Beckingsale. (Only prettier.) ;)
When a hubby (& daddy) comes home from being "away" is SUCH a momentous moment. Bless you for living the life as a military wife.
Great pics!!
Dang, I love that last picture.
i love it! what a great little photo tour!
Megan
Andrea= Stunning
Those are great photos...you can see how much you treasure the memories! You were a BEAUTIFUL bride!
You know, your natural hair color is really pretty. By which I don't mean to imply anything about the current color. I'm just saying. :-)
(It is natural, isn't it?)
The last push photo really touched me...
Once again another favorite post. Along with seeing your kids in magazines, you need to be published with your writing. Your words reach out and not many people can do that. Want to start writing for my blog? :)
Such beautiful memories . . . and photos! You look amazing in your wedding photos! And, I'm with Farm Fresh. . . I always get a little sentimental at the whole 'birth thing'! Thanks for sharing.
THE PRETTIES VIEL EVER!
I have been a lookie-loo for a while now. Just wanted to say what great photos! LOVE your wedding veil!!!
You've come a long way baby! Great pictures and story. I know what you mean about deployments, while I am not too keen on them, the reunions are something that I feel sorry for civilians missing out on. They will never know what it is like to see your love for the first time again. Last time I got to hand him his 5 month old bouncing baby boy. This time, he gets a mess of kids and me. What could be better?
the last two are my favorites!
