I don't have a sister, I have two younger brothers and while they are great...really, I love them very much, I always desired the companionship of a sister. Eve, at this point, doesn't have a sister and I worry sometimes that she will feel lonely with only having Judah to pal around with. Seeing the two of them together this morning took away a little of that fear. Does anyone else worry about these kind of things?
It's probably a good thing that we signed up for story time at the library today. It sure looks like we have another book-lover on our hands! It is interesting to me that he always goes to this exact spot in our house to read his books. He's such a funny little boy.

what a sweet set of photos! That's enough to melt any momma's heart!
I have a sister (7 yrs younger) and an older brother. I don't know what I would do without my sister. When she was born my brother was so mad, he wanted a boy. He even called her "it" for a while, lol, but once he got used to her, I don't think it's crossed his mind not having a brother. I think that as long as the relationship between those two continues to be as good as it is shown in the pictures (so cute by the way) they will not be missing out on anything.
No need to worry......The pictures tell it all. My son is 5 1/2 yrs older than his sister. They are so close, they know what the other is thinking.........Never play Pictionary and let them be on the same team. You'll lose. My son is 42 and married. His wife, bless her knows they need brother/sister time. So away the two of them go to the family room. Talk and laugh for hrs.
I sometimes worry about Savannah because she doesn' have any girls to play with either. I know that she gets lonely a lot and just wants another girl to play dolls and barbies and dress-up with. Even though she has her 2 little brothers to play with, it just doesn't seem the same. I'm hoping that as she gets a little older and is able to start having friends over for sleep-overs, it will help fill that little void in her life.
These pictures are adorable and priceless!!
I do wonder a bit... I have 2 boys and a girl. And I grew up with 2 sisters, so I cannot imagine not having that female bond. But, I never had a brother, so I'm sure she'll get something different from her own relationships.
And I am NOT getting pregnant again to give her a sister!!
