I'm not ready for twenty-seven, but Wednesday is coming whether I like it or not.
I haven't had a real birthday dinner in six years, because really... who likes to make themselves their own birthday dinner? But, since my parents are still here, my Mom made me a delicious dinner last night complete with my favorite cake - Angel Food cake. It was so good!
Too bad I still have to turn twenty-seven....

I know what you mean. I'm going to turn 31 on the 22nd and I'm DREADING IT. I feel old enough already, without adding birthdays to the mix!!

Happy Early Birthday!! I remember 27...it was a hard year...but there's hope. It really does get better. I'm 33 now (as I like to remind people, the same age Jesus was when He was crucified..lol) and life is good! So hang in there!
I'm old: 35. :-) But I have to say, there's a lot to be said for growing older. And presumably wiser. And even for making your own birthday dinner, complete with cake. I hope you have a lovely day, Andrea, celebrating with the ones you love the best!

I loved the late 20's. But I have to say the 30's are waaaay better than the 20's.
Happy early birthday wishes to you! If you think about it, you are really very young when you put things in perspective. You'll be in your early to mid forties when your kids are just finishing school. WOW! You'll have lots of energy between now and then to enjoy your kids to the fullest!

27 ain't old!! We're just still kids Andie! I've decided that I will be turning 21 every year...again. Thats what I wanna do, I'm done counting and if anyone asks me how old I am I'm gonna tell em 21! I'm gonna be 21 forever! Don't you just love denial:)
