We had such a nice time away - I just wish that I could've brought this view home with me. Daniel's meetings went well, and while he was in them I was able to relax and enjoy some solitude that is so rare in my life right now. The kids had a great time with all four grandparents. I can say with certainty that they didn't even miss us.
As for Target.... it was a lovely, lovely time.
The Salvation Army.... Let me tell you that although I touched just two spoons and Daniel one hanger, when we returned to the Jeep we had the burning desire to douse ourselves in hand sanitizer. Oh, it was bad.

Breathtaking view! How awesome that you got some time to just "be" and your children got some grandparent time!
Gorgeous. Water is so relaxing. I hope to have a home on a lake someday. Or maybe one day in heaven! :)
That view is breath taking....hurray for Target.
what a beautiful view! So where did you go off to?
Beautiful! Kinda reminds me of the south end of Canandaigua lake!
I had to respond to this one! James and I now are equipped with hand sanitizer whenever we go to the thrift stores. It's in the glove box--always ready for an emergency. Hope you had a wonderful birthday. your husband's post made me cry...
BTW, I came over from Sandy's blog.
