Eve has done it! She and Daddy have been working together to bring her to this day... Eve can ride her bike all by herself! What a big day! It was an awesome evening for all of us. We are so proud of her, even Judah told her how great she was doing. The best part was seeing the pride she took in her accomplishment. She kept telling us how proud she was and how good she felt about herself. I loved hearing that - it is so important for our children to feel pride in themselves.
To celebrate, we had fried dough for dinner. Yum! It was a great night here at the Hubbard household.

Hi, I read your blog everyday but I have never commented before ;) Can you tell me what fried dough is? I have never heard of it before! I am in South Australia so I am guessing its an American thing? Thanks
Whoo hoo Eve!!! You are doing so awesom and we are very proud of you too :)
We love you and it was so nice to hear your voice last night :)
Congrats Eve!
Yummm..fried dough. I haven't had that in forever.
Rhiannon - fried dough is pretty mch what it sounds like :) You take dough, like from a pillsbury canister (or you can make your own from scratch). You can roll itout into discs or just tear it into pieces. Then you fry it in oil until it is a golden brown. When its still warm you can put butter and brown sugar on it. Some people put powdered sugar on fried dough. Others make it savory instead of sweet with cheese or other spices.
congrats to your big girl on her accomplishment!
Awwww, she looks so grown up on her bike! Congrats to her!
Sounds like a great day! That is big stuff when they learn to ride their bike....good job Eve!
great job Eve!! You look like a pro out there!
Congratulations, Eve!!
Congratulations, Eve!! I am so proud of you! Andrea - you look great in that sneak peek.
Can I give Judah big props too? Noah CANNOT figure out how to pedal, cracks us up. And Judah, what a superstar at it, his little legs were moving so fast they were almost blurry:)
Congratulations Eve- what a big accomplishment!
Yay, Eve! What a great feeling--and deservedly so, since she worked so hard to get there.
Levi just watched Eve's video and would like to know if she fell at the end, or if she bumped into someone, or if it was just a noise? He's hoping she didn't fall, because that hurts... he knows.
Yay Eve! Kole just learned to ride his bike, too. It's so cute to watch how proud they are of themselves!
This is great! I keep watching it over and over. I just wanna know one thing....is the camera guy still alive!??
Love you-
Mom
Yay for Eve! I love when you put videos up!
That's AWESOME! It's a little scary how fast she is growing up but awesome still the same. It kinda looks like she crashed into you in the end though, haha!
Rock on Eve! Will you teach Sylas now?
She's doing super great! I love how Judah is trying to keep up with his itsy bitsy bike and you, the proud smiling mama with baby on your hip. If only you'd been barefoot--(that's so me!)
Wow, look at her go! Yay Eve!
My favorite part of that video is the end...too funny.
