I have taken the three kids out by myself on a few occasions, such as AWANA and to preschool, but never to the grocery store. This morning, at an hour far to early to be deciding rational things, I determined that today was the day. I was taking the kids to the health food store. I needed zinc -we are all out and I tend to get a little panicky when I find myself in that dark, dark place. All was well until Daniel asked me if I had seen outside yet. I looked and saw this:
And this:
The roads... not conducive to traveling or hauling three small children in and out of vehicles. I am totally bummed. I had really psyched myself up and decided I could do this! I guess it will have to wait for another day.

It is gorgeous though, isn't it?

Oh....i know how you feel. It is really beautiful though with all your snow...but definitely best to stay inside! :) Thank you so much for your kind words about our flu! So far..the kids seem OK...although Chris isn't feeling too hot (my hubby).
enjoy your day with your beautiful children and don't worry....there is always another day to test your sanity and take all three kids out with you! LOL :)
Maybe it was a sign lol!! Just kidding. You can handle it. 3 kids is not easy especially during shopping trips. But we all know it's worth all the hectic crazy stuff! The snow really is pretty though. We haven't had alot of snow this year at all. It's 60 degrees here. But we have the storms to go along with it!
Have a great snow day Andrea!!
Your snowfall looks beautiful!! As I type it is snowing here in Illinois. However, as of this morning all my beautiful snow had melted leaving my yard look like a swampy mess. Ugh!! Hopefully this snow will cover the ugliness. Also, the swampy muddy mess is not to my liking when my pups leave muddy paw prints on my floors. I hope you have a great snowy day!!
It is pretty!
We get almost no snow at all in New Jersey. Today it's somehow 67 degrees out! ??? (Isn't it January?!) I'm missing the snow. Never thought I'd say that, but it doesn't feel right to have winter without the white stuff.
Enjoy the view! (I'm jealous!)
You are a brave, brave woman. It is difficult for me to shop when I have only two. Even one can be challenging. I have to admit, the snow looks beautiful but, I do not enjoy it being where I live. :)
Dare I say (because I am not a mother yet) that you are a brave brave soul? Sometimes, I see mothers at the stores with their children and they look completely defeated; other times, they look so content with the world. I love that contenment and I hope that when you are able to take all three of the children out, it goes well!
Oh how I am wishing for a snowfall that beautiful. It's 60 degrees here today and rainy. Yuck.
I hope you and your kiddos are able to enjoy the beauty of the snow!
That landscape is totally foreign to me. We had a tornado watch here today and it's probably in the high 50s. Not sure. I'm wearing a t-shirt outside, though. Yours is certainly beautiful, I must say!
You poor thing. Make Daniel get the Zinc on the way home. It is so pretty. 3 kids at the grocery...I freak out with just Miller at the grocery...freak out.....if I were there I would watch them all so you could go by yourself....smiles and hugs.
Oh wow, how beautiful! We havn't had any snow here this year. I was hoping for one!
Ahhh... that stinks... especially since you had made the decision to go. OY! Love the snow though... very pretty. Wish we had snow instead of rain here. Yuck!
Brittany
Um, yes pretty, but oh so inconvenient! Trying to lug one baby out in it is too much for me!! :)
Beautiful! as long as you keep it! Not that it's any warmer here right now we just don't have snow on the ground, its too bad because it would cut down on the dust! not TOO too bad, though, sometimes i'm sure i will never be warm again. can NOT wait to get back to my nice little tropical island and sweat! man i can't believe i just said that:) i'm so spoiled. don't ever live on a tropical island if you are planning on living where it snows after that, haha! you will REALLY hate life. love you!
You brave, brave woman! It's hard for me to get through the store with one sometimes. Three I can't imagine. Makes you wonder how women with 7 or more make it.
The snow is beautiful. We have lots of snow here, but not pretty snow. It's always brown and yucky.
I love these pictures....I have to live vicariously through my New England friends. We rarely get snow and if we do, it's only about an inch...and is usually more ice than snow!! Blake didn't see his first snow until he was 7!!
Although I agree that the snow is gorgeous...I also agree about the bummer aspect. I for one was not impressed when I had to spend half an hour outside in the cold uncovering my car hidden amongst two feet of snow and a nice 1 inch layer of ice. And what did I do this all for you may ask....to get to work...bummer number two.
Take care, and I can't wait to hear about your first adventure to the health food store will all three little ones.
