I love the "old" toys. You know, the ones that I use to play with; all things Fisher Price, the classic play kitchens (I found one at a garage sale for 15 dollars), Sit n' Spins...
I found this Sit n' Spin at a church rummage sale for one dollar. I wouldn't have paid more for it - it's pretty gross looking. But, the thrill I had when I saw it! As a child I use to spin on mine like nobody's business. I was a pro. And now, my children spin on one just like mine. Ah, sentimentalism at it's best.
Eliza was circumspect in her note taking. Of how to spin and what happens when the spinning goes awry. Like this:

Oh, I used to love that thing! How fun that you found one for your kids!!
My boys have one - they LOVE it!
Okay, photo question first: these - 50mm or 8mm? I ask bc recently your photos are so sharp!
On to the sitnspin. I have one I bought on consignment for my girls and they love it. I used to put my little sister on it across from me (you know, "spider legs") and would spinspinspinspin her until her head was wobbling back and forth with dizzy...ah, i miss that.
It' so cool that you get to share that fun with your kids. Don't you just love a good throwback?
I love those throwbacks to childhood--I was just on Amazon today looking some up!
