Daniel says Eliza looks like Judah here but all I see is Eve as a baby.
The outfit Eliza has on was my most favorite of Eve's outfits as a baby. The color, the sprinkling of flowers, the softness... Today, as I put this outfit on Eliza, I could see the fading of the material but it made me love it all the more; it's still my favorite outfit even five years later. And the way it brings out Eliza's baby blues just blows me away. I didn't touch the color of her eyes in this picture - they are naturally that beautiful.
I'm liking this hand-me-down thing, it's bringing back such wonderful memories. And you know how much I love memories...

I found your site through American Mum and I have been admiring your pictures. They are all so beautiful. Both of my boys have stunning blue eyes like your little one. I know you say she looks a lot like Eve but I always see Judah when I look at her. Granted I am the worst at saying who looks like who. She is so pretty.

She does have beautiful eyes, my son is always being told "my what beautiful blue eyes he has!" and they used to be this blue but over the two years of his life thus far, they've kind of turned to a steel blue that I adore. But sometimes I miss those bluer than possible blue days...

I myself have hazel green eyes and have never had an affinity for the color blue (as in clothing, paint, etc...). I look better in greens and browns.....BUT.. when I gave birth to children with gorgeous blue eyes, my perspective of the color blue changed completely!
I love clothing that brings out the natural "blueness" in their sweet little eyes. Eliza's are absolutely GORGEOUS!! I'd put as much blue on that girl as could get my hands on!!
As we start trying for number two, I'm kind of hoping for another girl so I can pull out all of my daughter's clothes. Each thing I kept was special in some way.
I see a lot of Judah too although Ive never really seen baby pics of eve. Her eyes are gorgeous!

My heart is melting as I look at her eyes in that picture. Her outfit is sweet, that rich shade of blue looks perfect on her. Eliza's chubby buddy Leah has bright blue eyes too . . . but no soft wisps of hair yet like her ;-)

What beautiful blue eyes she has. I can't believe she's already nine months old! We hoped Avery's eyes would stay blue, but at only seven months, her eyes are just as brown as they can be.
I felt the same way about hand me downs. I loved the memories those outfits brought back, the second time around.
